The delays were caused by the derailment of a freight train on the Vasilkov – Boyarka section in the Kiev region.
As of 9.00, a number of flights were delayed:
- №144 Ivano-Frankivsk – Kiev (delay was 3 hours);
- # 142 Lviv – Bakhmut (delay was 3 hours 15 minutes);
- No. 358 Rakhiv – Kiev (delay was 2 hours 30 minutes);
- No. 761 Kiev – Odessa (delay was 1 hour 40 minutes);
- No. 715 Kiev – Lvov (delay was 1 hour 25 minutes);
- №20 Popasnaya – Kiev (delay was 1 hour);
- No. 50 Truskavets – Kiev (delay was 1 hour 35 minutes);
- No. 118 Chernivtsi – Chernihiv (delay was 1 hour 50 minutes);
- No. 10 Mariupol – Kiev (delay was 2 hours);
- # 81 Uzhgorod – Kiev (delay was 2 hours);
- № 106 Odessa – Kiev (delay was 2 hours);
- No. 281 Genichesk – Khmelnitsky (delay was 2 hours 45 minutes);
- №30 Uzhgorod – Kiev (delay was one hour).
“Work on the restoration of a full-fledged movement is already underway. Ukrzaliznytsia asks forgiveness for the forced delay,” the message says.
