When they entered the apartment, the victim was lying on his sofa. Tuesday evening, gendarmes De Vaugneray discovered the body of a 48-year-old man who had died several months ago in his house in Messimy,
near Lyon.
According to Progress who reports this case, the forties had not shown any signs of life for a long time. Worried that he could not reach him by phone, one of his acquaintances finally alerted the town hall of Messimy, which asked for the intervention of the gendarmes at the home of this local resident.
Beside the body of the deceased lay several bottles of alcohol. The autopsy carried out on his body on Wednesday gave no evidence suggesting the intervention of a third party in his death.
