Louis Saha has made clear its position on the current situation of Cristiano Ronaldo at Manchester United. The ex-soccer player defends the Portuguese star and sends a warning to the rest of the dressing room components: “The players should shut up and listen“.
Rumors of a possible departure of Ronaldo from United this summer if the ‘red devil’ group fails to get into the Champions They are already, today, a reality. The player does not feel valued in the dressing room and has already acknowledged that he does not mind taking a step to the side: “If you don’t want my help, do your job“.
Furthermore, in his team’s match against Brentford had an anger with his new coach, Ralph Rangnick, after being substituted in the 75th minute, and has been heavily criticized in England.
The Portuguese does not understand why none of his teammates want to follow his advice and recommendations. Saha, his former partner, shares his opinion. “If anyone has the right to say what he thinks, it’s Cristiano Ronaldo,” says the Frenchman.
“A lot of these young players have yet to make their mark. They haven’t proven anything.. What have they won? It’s as if you God I will not intimidate you, you have no respect. I’m not saying they should consider him God, but he will be remembered as one of the best in history.”
In addition, he thinks that Cristiano Ronaldo is a good teammate and he only tries to help the group so that things go for the better: “He only says it for to help, for the players to improve. As a footballer, if you can’t accept criticism, that’s not normal, just as it’s not normal that they don’t respect what you say. They should follow all advice because this man has been successful throughout his career. They would have to say, ‘Wait, I’m going to try this for a few months. I’ll try to do it like him.
It also sends a message to the other players in the Manchester United: “You have to listen to him, put as much dedication into training as he does and focus on improving week after week. You have to be humble, work hard… and keep quiet.”
