Probably not, especially since mushroom picking is our national sport. Those who went searching on the last weekend of September certainly did not regret it.
A few days of heavier rainfall, followed by sunshine and high temperatures were enough for mushrooms to appear in many Polish forests. Collectors report that they prey on goat beards, kites, but also the greatest delicacy from Polish forests – boletes, also known as porcini mushrooms.
Mushroom pickers, in particular, have had very successful harvests in the province. Lubuskie.
