A 16-year-old minor, suspected of being involved in the murder of a man in Rouen, was arrested in the Mulhouse region after a month on the run, according to the city’s public prosecutor’s office.
The young man had fled from the closed educational center where he had been placed in the Haut-Rhin.
Body found in September 2019
He is suspected of having participated in the murder of a man whose body was found naked, his face severely beaten, in the gardens of Rouen City Hall in September 2019.
The victim is a man in his 50s, described as “a tidy person, unknown to the police”. He had been discovered with his face riddled with beatings in the gardens of the Town Hall.
