A first in Quebec | Le Journal de Québec

The Québec Tattoo Show, the largest international tattoo convention, which will introduce you to the latest trends in tattooing with more than 400 artists from various countries, will be held for the first time in Québec City, from August 23 to 25, at the ExpoCité Fair Center. The program promises to be varied with seminars hosted by Michaël Cloutier and Jay Marceau, a contest for the most beautiful tattoos in 15 categories, a music show with a tribute to Pantera, rap shows with Farfadet, Tel Kel and Black Life, a fire eater, circus artists, a booth of airbrush for children, a contortionist, a circus man and… I’ll stop there! The promoters of the Quebec Tattoo Show, Melissa Vezina et Tommy Renaud (photo), owners of Paradoxe Tatouage, invite you to come celebrate the world of tattooing, where art and body expression meet, and to take the opportunity to get tattooed by the greatest tattoo artists in Quebec and elsewhere. Platinum wedding anniversary

Congratulation to Raymond Poulin et Marie-Marthe Labrecque (photo), both aged 93, who celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary yesterday, August 7. The couple, who live in the Campanile residence in Sainte-Foy, were surrounded by their family for the occasion. For the main parties concerned, this long road (which seemed very short to them) was made in love, loyalty, courage and complicity. Bravo! Photo provided by family.

For the 15e year
