NASA researchers broke new ground with the James Webb space telescope. The earth-like planet, 41 light-years away, was discovered thanks to the James Webb telescope.

JAMES WEBB TELESCOPE MAKES THE FIRST PLANET DISCOVERY

The James Webb telescope, which has made many discoveries since its launch into space, has discovered a planet for the first time.

According to the news in the BBC, the exoplanet called LHS 475b is located in the Octans constellation and is 41 light-years away from the earth.

Stating that there is a lot to learn about LHS 475b, the researchers announced that new studies are planned in the coming days.

The exoplanet LHS 475b, which is the same size as Earth, stands out with its rocky surface.

While it is not yet certain whether an atmosphere exists on the planet, NASA director Mark Clampin said, “The mission is just getting started.”

Scientists aim to find more information about the new planet with future observations.
