A first beer in the image of the Duchesne company

YAMACHICHE. On December 11, La Brasserie Dépareillée launched a new personalized beer in the colors of the company Duchesne et fils ltée.

This light, refreshing and light beer, brewed in Yamachiche, reveals the history of this family business specializing in the manufacture of materials and products for the construction industry.

The production of this new collaborative beer called “La Duchesne” marks the start of a new adventure between these two companies. “This collaborative project is part of the goal of encouraging local purchasing and promoting our two companies at the regional and provincial level. Behind Duchesne’s 93 years of existence, there are women who have influenced the history of the company. This is what we wanted to put forward with this new product, ”explains Jean-Pierre Hamelin, Marketing Director at Duchesne.

Jean-Pierre Hamelin, Marketing Director at Duchesne, Raphaël Richard, co-owner of Brasserie Dépareillée and Audrey Duchesne Milette, President of Duchesne.

This first edition pays tribute to Madeleine Duchesne. “Madeleine, who was affectionately known as“ Mado ”, was passionate about flowers, gardening, birds and small stews. She had no respite when it came to her passions and making them discover. She was involved in the business, but in her own way. Always distinguished, she was strong. She made Duchesne grow by supporting her husband every day and by transmitting the values of the company to all those close to her. She was a woman of character, at the same time generous, attentive, dedicated, of a memorable sweetness and always smiling ”, recounts Audrey Duchesne Milette, her granddaughter today at the head of the company.

“La Duchesne” displays on its label “Mado” in its element playing with the rooster and the donkey which represent the emblem of the Brasserie Dépareillée. “La Duchesne Mado edition is a thirst-quenching beer and accessible to all. Like Mado, it contains notes of fruit and flowers which make it such a distinguished beer, ”reports Raphaël Richard, co-owner of Brasserie Dépareillée.

La Duchesne is available in limited quantities at the Yamachiche brewery, at the Pousse-Santé in Louiseville as well as at Au Coin Des Picoleurs in Boucherville. “We have started this great adventure for our employees, for consumers, for Yamachiche and for both companies,” continues Mr. Hamelin.

The 200 Duchesne employees were the first to receive this local microbrewery beer as a gift, which they can taste or share during the holiday season.
