A fire at Salak Hospital in Bogor was extinguished by joint firefighters, military and police after allegedly being caused by a short circuit.

Salak Hospital in Bogor, West Java, experienced a fire on Friday 7 April which took firefighters, police and the military 30 minutes to extinguish. It is believed the fire was started by an electrical short circuit in one hospital building, and later spread to other areas of the hospital including the medical examination room and pharmacy. Four rooms were reportedly damaged in total. No casualties were reported. An investigation into the cause of the fire was launched on Saturday 8 April.
