A large fire at Publiek cafe on the Markt in Eindhoven has caused extensive damage. The fire is under control. Residents of a few nearby houses had to leave their homes for safety.
The fire brigade came to the center of Eindhoven with several vehicles. An ambulance also came just in case. No one was present in the cafe when the fire started. The building was badly damaged by the fire.
Local residents who had to leave their homes were staying in a nearby hotel. It is not known how the fire started.
