Finnish student Herbalist, real name Juuso Karikuusi, has been on holiday in Gran Canaria, Spain. However, the trip took a nasty turn when Karikuusi ended up in the hospital.

Karikuusi, 30, shared a series of photos and a long explanation of the hospital trip on his Instagram account. He says that they set off with their friends at dawn with little energy. The friends had enjoyed the holiday scenery, the company and the beautiful weather and sun.

Soon, however, Karikuusi was hospitalized. His fluid levels plummeted and “all of a sudden nothing was staying inside.” Karikuusi says in the video that he vomited and had diarrhea. He also developed a fever.

– The Kamulis asked the doctor to visit the hotel room to check the condition. They immediately attached the first cannula of my life to my arm and put the liquid directly into the vein. They ordered an ambulance and then it was off. This video is the first one I took from the hospital after I finally got the fever reducer and fluid IV. I only remember glimpses here and there before this moment. And no. I wasn’t in good shape, although I say that quite optimistically here, Karikuusi recalls.

Karikuusi spent two nights in the hospital. He also meant to miss his flight because the hospital stay was unexpectedly long.

– However, I managed to get on the plane and we all got back to Finland on the same flight! All in all, it was a really wonderful trip and at least MEMORABLE, Karikuusi sum.
