A Finnish band applies to be Sweden’s five-piece representative –

The name of the KAJ band comes from the first names of the members. And

Finnish KAJ is, according to Aftonbladet, one of the artists of Melodifestivalen. Melodifestivalen is Sweden’s quintet qualifier.

KAJ is a Finnish-Swedish comedy band from Vöyri, Ostrobothnia.

They form a group Kevin Holmstrom, Axel Åhman and Jakob Norrgård.

According to Aftonbladet, next year’s Melodifestivalen will also see, among other things, the five-piece winner Måns Zelmerlöwby The Sounds Maja Ivarsson and Arvingarna, who represented Sweden in 1993.

Also the 2019 Melodifestivalen John Lundvik is involved.

Next year’s Melodifestivalen will feature a total of 30 songs, of which 12 will make it to the final.

The final will be contested in March at the Strawberry arena in Solna, Stockholm.
