This Saturday at 3:45 am, the security service of the Eupen hospital warned the police that a fight between four people was taking place at the main entrance of the hospital.
Upon arrival, the police later found an injured person in the Hufengasse, with a laceration on the back of the head. The 27-year-old man from Eupen was under the influence of alcohol. He was taken to the emergency room and received medical treatment.
“No doubt for fear of the authors, he refused to reveal their identity,” explains the Vesdre-Gueule police zone. He only said that he had been beaten by several people. One of his attackers allegedly hit him on the head with a bottle. Then they allegedly took him to the hospital themselves. “
All this would have happened in particular at the Klötzerbahn.
The police therefore patrolled the area and noticed several people who could have been responsible for the crime. However, when the police questioned them about it, they didn’t want to say anything. “The analysis of the recordings of the cameras will probably make it possible to identify the authors”, concludes the police force.
