Tim Stutzle and Travis Hamonic scored twice on Saturday night as the Ottawa Senators edged the Columbus Blue Jackets 5-2 in Kanata.

It’s the fifth straight win for the Senators as they continue to charge up the standings to secure a playoff berth.
The other “Sens” scorer was defender Jakob Chychrun, who thus obtained his first goal in the Ottawa team’s uniform after being acquired from the Coyotes a few days ago.
The Jackets’ cue came from Jack Roslovic and Patrik Laine.
Cam Talbot made 19 saves in net for the winners. At the other end of the rink, Elvis Merzlikins gave up four goals on 23 shots before giving way to Michael Hutchinson, who stopped 15 shots.
