MURDER – Arkansas man charged with ‘first-degree murder‘ after fatally shooting 14-year-old daughter’s alleged rapist
To UNITED STATESa father is accused of killing his daughter’s kidnapper and alleged rapist. Shortly after the disappearance of the child, this resident of theArkansas had found the 14-year-old girl in the car of the suspect, aged around sixty. An altercation broke out and a shot was fired, reports USA Ally. Prosecuted for first degree murder, he faces up to forty years in prison.
“My husband is a hero”
According to our colleagues, the police were alerted to the disappearance of the young girl last Tuesday. She had set out to look for the teenager, but the 36-year-old father had found her before, in a street near his home. He quickly recognized the sixty-year-old, who was to be tried next December for having sexually harassed and assaulted his daughter.
“My husband is a hero […] He did what he had to do to protect himself and his minor daughter,” reacted the mother of theadolescent. “We want to do everything possible so that he can continue to be there to protect us,” she added about her husband, released on bail the day after his arrest.
