Bhiwandi: Janardhanan Bhair, a farmer from Maharashtra, has bought a helicopter to facilitate the dairy business. “I have to travel to many parts of the country for the dairy business and I bought a helicopter for Rs 30 crore to facilitate this,” Janardhan said.
He travels to Punjab, Haryana, Rajasthan and Gujarat for dairy business and agriculture. Janardhan, who is also a well-known builder in Bhiwandi, said he had bought the helicopter to save time lost when he had to travel by car, as there were no airports in many places to go.
He is preparing to build a helipad after buying a helicopter at a cost of Rs 30 crore. The helipad will be built on two and a half acres. The helipad will include a pilot room and a technician room.
Bhiwandi is home to some of the richest people in Maharashtra. Even in rural areas, people here own expensive cars such as Mercedes, Fortuner, BMW and Range Rover. Janardhan Bhair owns several warehouses in addition to other businesses.
