A famous Ukrainian actor gave his life for his homeland

The famous Ukrainian actor Pasha Lee joined the war as a fighter in the Territorial Defense of his homeland. Unfortunately, he was killed in Irpen in clashes with Russian special forces.

The death of the 33-year-old celebrity, who died in a shooting at civilians during the evacuation of the city, was first reported on social media by journalist and lawyer Yaroslav Kuts.

“We didn’t even have time to take a picture. Rest in peace!” Reads his Facebook post, which saddened hundreds of users of the platform, who expressed their grief in the comments below.

The popular face from the small and big screen joined the defense of his country on March 1, Deer reports. His latest Instagram photo was uploaded shortly after, in which he stands in front of the camera in a military uniform. In a message to her, he explained that for 48 hours he had not had the opportunity to share anything in cyberspace because of the bombing. His post ended with the words that, despite this, he did not lose confidence for a moment that he would cope with the situation and Ukraine would withstand the invasion.

A number of colleagues of the star from “Gallery”, “Shadows of Unforgotten Ancestors”, “Meeting of Classmates” paid tribute to him in cyberspace, mourning his loss. The frontman of the group “Pianoboy” – Dmitry Shurov, called Pasha extremely talented and kind, calling him the most beautiful artist of all. He added that now the actor has flown to his planet of justice and light.

Taras Tsimbalyuk, who has participated in many hit Ukrainian productions, named him his brother.

“We all cry. Bright memory of our hero! You were the first actor who shared his experience and knowledge with me. I have not forgotten any of your lessons and I will remember them for the rest of my life,” wrote Ksenia Mishina.

“This is a Ukrainian actor who defended his country not on stage or from the screen, but on the front line! Talents should not be there!”, Wrote Yulia Sinkevich.
