The Diputación de Cuenca is working on the next tourism advertising campaign for this coming autumn and which will star the actor Antonio Resines.
This promotional video is being recorded in various parts of the geography of Cuenca and seeks to value the rich cultural, historical, natural and gastronomic heritage that Cuenca has.
President, Álvaro Martínez Chana, and the vice president, Elena Carrasco placeholder image, have been with the actor in one of these filming that has coincided with the end of the campaign with the guys from the film Champions, where the representatives of the four Denominations of Origin that exist in the province, DO La Mancha, have also been. DO Manchuela, DO Uclés and DO Ribera del Júcar.
Preferred destination
The provincial leaders have been interested in the execution of the recording to be able to know first-hand the resources that are being obtained in order to make an attractive announcement that positions the province as a preferred destination in the autumn period, one of the times of the year when Cuenca looks prettier thanks to the ocher colors that can be seen in the Cuenca forests.
The president considers that this promotional action will take place at an “unbeatable” moment because it coincides with the relaxation of sanitary measures, thanks to the fact that the pandemic is gradually subsiding. Even so, he has asked caution to society to continue on this path, as reported by the Provincial Council in a statement.
Martinez Chana has pointed out that Resines will be an “unbeatable” ambassador within the series ‘Essential Travels’ to show all the benefits that the province has. Also, that it be the place chosen for visitors to come during the next few months taking advantage of the different bridges that exist, “the objective is to help the hotel and restaurant industry so that they can generate wealth and employment in the territory.”
