It was his wife, Marcelle Alexis, who announced this sad news on the social network Facebook. “It is with great sadness and a broken heart that I announce that my husband Franck Olivier has left for his big trip. […] It makes such a great void in my heart.
73-year-old Franck Olivier is died of liver cancer.

He discovered music thanks to a harmonica
Born in 1948 in Gozée, his parents named him Claude Vangansbeck. He quickly discover music thanks to a harmonica offered by his parents.
Older, he took violin lessons and also piano lessons at the conservatory … He is also part of the parish choir. After studying physiotherapy, he slowly moves towards the song and enjoys success in Belgium in the 1970s. His pensions enabled him to open a retirement home in the Charleroi region, which he took care of for a few years.
