A Fairytale Jordanian Royal Wedding attended by Princess Diana and Other Royalties

A fairytale wedding that will be talked about for a long time lifted the Jordanian royal family. The crown prince, the son of King Abdullah II and Queen Rania, married Rajwa al-Saif on June 1.

The lavish ceremony took place in Amman and was attended by royalty from around the world. Among them were the Prince and Princess of Wales, as well as their cousin Princess Beatrice with her husband Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi.

Architect Rajwa trusted Elie Saab for her wedding dress. It features an asymmetric neckline and a wide white train embroidered with flowers.

Before the wedding, there was speculation that Prince Hussein’s chosen one would not wear a tiara. But she refuted these claims, appearing with exactly one on her head. With it she fixed her veil.

The bride and groom drove through the streets of the capital, Amman, riding in a special car with an open sunroof to greet the assembled crowd. After arriving in front of Zahran Palace, Prince Hashem bin Abdullah, the younger brother of the Crown Prince, took the beautiful Rajwa by the hand. His sisters, Princess Iman and Princess Salma, were behind them, holding the long veil.

Prince Hussein and his fiancee pledged eternal fidelity at the same location where King Abdullah II and Queen Rania were married in 1993. Princess Iman, the couple’s second child, also got married there earlier this year.
