Branimir S. refused to give blood for chemical analysis and spent the night in detention for 24 hours
The 47-year-old businessman Branimir S. from the village of Ravda in Nessebar got behind the wheel drugged and caused an accident in the area of the roundabout of the Mirage hotel. On the eve of the national holiday, March 3, around 10:45 a.m., Branimir aimed his BMW X5 SUV at the small Fiat Punto of a 70-year-old man from the village of Dimchevo in Burgas and almost gave him a heart attack. Fortunately, the older driver escaped with only a scare and his little old car was slightly dented in the crash.
Both drivers were tested for alcohol and drugs, with Branimir’s drug test positive for amphetamine and pico. The businessman refused to give blood for chemical analysis and spent the night in detention for 24 hours.
The work on the case continues by employees of the Fifth District Administration – Burgas.
