While their levels of effectiveness vary according to the studies carried out and range from 50 to 95%. Only one of the approved vaccines requires the application of a single dose and the remaining six of two doses to guarantee the immunization of the person.
The least expensive dose is that of the Oxford University AstraZeneca vaccine that costs 4 dollars and 3 Euros, while the one that appears as the most expensive is that of the American company Moderna, which is on the market at 33 dollars a dose, followed by CoronaVac, from the Chinese company Sinovac at $ 30.

Greater cooling
That of the pharmaceutical company Pfizer-BioNTech requires two doses, its effectiveness is 95%, it requires a refrigeration of -70C and its cost is 20 dollars and 15 euros.
The Russian Sputnik V vaccine must also be applied in two doses, it is 92% effective, uses a regular temperature for its conservation and its cost is 10 dollars and 7.50 euros.
CoronaVac, from the Chinese company Sinovac, uses two doses, has an effectiveness that ranges from 50 to 92%, uses normal temperature and its cost per dose in the market is 30 euros.
The North American Novavax requires two doses, is 89% effective, uses regular refrigeration temperatures, and costs $ 16 per dose.

The latest to be approved is the vaccine from the American company Johnson & Johnson, it is the only one that requires a single dose, is 72% effective, uses a regular temperature and costs $ 10.
