A probable case of animal abuse occurred in an area of Ciudad Bolívar, a city in Venezuela, capital of the state of Bolívar.
Residents of the Bosques del Madrigal neighborhood have noticed that a Pit Bull dog had been complaining about ten days ago from a house. Probably the animal had been abandoned by someone, or had entered the house alone, which had been uninhabited for at least a year and a half.
The first to notice the dog in distress was a lady who lives in the area and who heard moans coming from there. At that point she and some inhabitants of the neighborhood decided to come forward, they found the animal in an evident state of both physical and psychological discomfort and decided to bring water and food to all fours. They made it through a hole in the wall of the house. “The dog – said the residents – looked sick and very sad.”
