The council of the African Volleyball Confederation, chaired by Bouchra Hajij, approved at a meeting held on Friday by videoconference, the commissions and working groups for the period 2021-2024, composed in particular of eight Moroccans.
98% of national federations have acquired representation in 12 committees, including the Royal Moroccan Volleyball Federation.
Bouchra Hajij will chair the executive committee of the African Confederation of the discipline, in addition to the general direction, human resources planning, marketing and business of the region.
Moroccan Mustapha Boulbars was elected secretary of the sports organizing committee, while his compatriot Allam Abderazzak was elected chairman of the beach volleyball committee.
The Egyptian Hamid El Wassimy will head the coaching commission assisted by the Moroccan Mostafa Ahchouche, while the other Moroccan Jaouad Berrada will chair the arbitration commission and Driss Bakhi as a member of the development commission.
On the other hand, the Moroccan Abdel Hamid Ouaqouaq will be chairman of the medical commission, while his compatriot Mohammed Al Hachdadi will head the athletes’ commission.
