A directive from the Minister of Islamic Affairs to mosque preachers in all regions regarding the topic of the upcoming Friday sermon

Al-Marsad Newspaper: The Minister of Islamic Affairs, Dr. Abdullatif Al-Sheikh, directed mosque preachers in the regions of the Kingdom to allocate the upcoming Friday sermon corresponding to 6/27/1444 AH to warn against backbiting and gossip and its impact on the individual and society.

The Ministry of Islamic Affairs, in a tweet on its Twitter account, referred to the themes of the Friday sermon, which include:

1- Exalting the importance of preserving the tongue and what is stated in that in the Book and the Sunnah.

2-Statement of the danger of backbiting and gossip and that it is one of the great sins.

3- Warning against listening to people of backbiting and gossip, and the legitimacy of distancing oneself from sitting with them.

The directive of the Minister of Islamic Affairs came within the framework of the guiding efforts to reconcile hearts, and to warn against what spoils this intimacy from the pests of the tongue.
