After its descent in Ligue 2 at the end of the season, Dijon surely expects a tidal wave in the direction of the departures. If for the moment, only Saturnin Allagbé, loaned to Valenciennes, and Ngonda Muzinga have left the reds, another element of the workforce could well do the same.
Relegated to Ligue 2 after a pitiful last place in the Ligue 1 standings, Dijon will certainly see many of its best players fly away. One of them could even put down his suitcases not far from the Côte d’Or. Indeed, Mama Baldé, Dijon striker, is announced very close to Troyes. According to East Eclair, negotiations between the two teams would go very well, and would even be close to reaching an agreement.
Arrived in 2019 in Dijon, Mama Baldé has spent most of her career on the Portugal side. Trained at SU Sintrense, he then joined the youngsters of Sporting Portugal. Failing to win in the Portuguese club, he knows various loans before arriving in France. Author 53 appearances for 13 goals in two seasons with Dijon, he is therefore coming out of a satisfactory period, but will not have succeeded in keeping the residents of the Gaston Gérard stadium in Ligue 1.
This transfer window is one of all dangers for Dijon. Relegated to Ligue 2, the club risks losing some of its most precious elements, which will surely wish to continue to evolve in the elite of French football, or abroad.
