Santos’ most famous lies were contained in two tweets he wrote on Twitter about his mother. He said in the first in July 2021 that she was among the victims of the September 11, 2001 attacks in New York, and wrote in a second on December 22, 2021 that she died on December 23, 2016, according to what we see in a picture of his two tweets below, and next to it is a picture. To his mother, whom he wrote about on his campaign website, without mentioning her name, and said: “She was on September 11, 2001 in her office in the south building of the World Trade Center in New York, and she survived, but she died a few years later in her battle with cancer.”
