According to information gathered by Europa 1, a deputy mayor of the municipality of Choisy-le-Roi in Val-de-Marne found himself in police custody after refusing a police check and embarrassing officials who intervened in a city. “He even harangued the young rioters, telling them to film the scene,” said a source familiar with the matter.

According to information from Europa 1, the elected official will be prosecuted by Créteil’s indictment in the form of a guilty plea procedure, which implies that the suspect acknowledges the facts.
