An accident a landslide happened on Jalan Rancahaur, Karang Tengah Village, Pagedangan District, Tangerang RegencyBantain. Landslides occurred due to the intensity of rain.
“Residents reported that a landslide had occurred as the intensity of the rain caused land movement and landslides,” BPBD Tangerang Regency Emergency and Logistics Department Head Agun Guntara said on Tuesday (5/11/ 2024).
A landslide incident was reported to the Tangerang Regency BPBD at 16.50 WIB. BPBD Tangerang Regency officials immediately came to the place to confirm conditions.

“It was safely under control, there were no fatalities or vehicle injuries,” he said.
BPBD Tangerang Regency then coordinated with other related parties. Rancahaur road was cut off as the depth of landslide reached 7 meters.
“As a result of this landslide, about 40 meters long and 7 meters deep, the village road was broken in Baile Rancahaur,” he said.
Rancahaur Road connects Karang Tengah Village, Pagedangan District, Tangerang Regency with Parung Panjang District, Bogor Regency, West Java. Residents are still concerned about the state of water flow in the river.
“Residents are concerned about the state of the Cimanceuri River, where the flow of water is increasing,” he said.
