Books – Mahmoud Mustafa Abu Talib:
Sheikh Khaled Omran, Fatwa Secretary at Egypt’s Dar Al Iftaa, has responded to recent reports that watching World Cup matches is a waste of time and life.
Omran said in statements to Masrawy on Monday that soccer is good for learning about different cultures, and has different federations in all countries, and is approved as a sports game that strengthens the mind and body.
And the Secretary of Fatwa at Egypt’s Dar Al Iftaa stressed that the Prophet, prayers of God and peace be upon him, his family and his companions, practiced sports with his wife, Ms. Aisha, and his companions , emphasizing that football is a sporting game and sport is something considered in Islam.
He emphasized that no one has the right, anyone, to judge any of God’s creatures which is basically two bastards.
Dr Younis Makhyoun, the former head of the Nour party, head of the party’s senate, said that a practice is a waste of time, life and years, and involves upsetting the scales, mixing concepts and taking people away from what they it benefits both worlds.
He explained in a video on his official Facebook page that time is a Muslim’s capital, and wasted times and hours will be held accountable by a Muslim, and it is among the things a Muslim will be asked on the Day of Resurrection, indicating that there are many hours lost watching the games, and the first is that they are spent in reading the Koran or in any other obedience.
He stressed that there is no benefit to watching football matches other than watching 22 men walking behind an inflatable ball, adding, “With our enthusiasm to encourage everyone to train with the aim of having a strong nation” .
He stressed that watching football is a game-changer, putting people who should have been at the bottom of a bastard for his debauchery and deviation, into a higher position after encouraging them, such as Lionel Messi, who is hostile to the Islamic party religion , and went to the Western Wall in Jerusalem first, and other players he takes. Some are role models and shouldn’t be.
He pointed out that Muslims have their own love for God, His Messenger and believers, and watching football matches generates a state of hatred among people encouraging each person to a different team, indicating that this issue affects something of the faith of the Muslim, which is “loyalty and innocence” that their love is for those who encourage them.
He continued, “We are not proud of an Arab country that organized the World Cup and spent billions of dollars on it. We hoped the pride would be in other areas, like the nuclear bomb, like Iran.”
