The author of Montero was honored in a ceremony in which he was awarded a plaque for “Lil Nas X Day”.
A reward that unfortunately will not please everyone...
Love him or hate him, Lil Nas Xkeep writing his story. The pop rapper has only been facing stardom for about two years, but he’s reaching new heights with every announcement. His first studio album, Montero, has been ranked number 1 on the hit–parade, just like his single Industry Baby with Jack Harlow.
Of course the star often finds himself in the midst of controversy, but he doesn’t let the critics intimidate him. This Wednesday, October 20, critics of Lil Nas X were once again scandalized after learning thata day was totally dedicated to him in Atlanta. In the evening, the artist received a plaque in honor of this special moment from the hands of the first black member of the LGBTQ council.+ from Atlanta, Antonio Brown, who presented him with this gift at the ATL Gathering Spot.

Lil Nas X then took the stage for a short speech in which he talked about “Lil Nas X Day” and l’“unbelievable”moment that he was living. Knowing he grew less than a half–Atlanta time is an honor he could not but rejoice in.
