A Czech Man Pays 20 Thousand Euros to Secure Third Division Spot for Son

A Czech working man pays 20 thousand euros to have his son join a team in the third division

A Czech man financed the transfer of his son to a team playing in the third division in order to give him the opportunity to play football, after it was impossible for him to impose himself in the rest of the clubs despite reaching the age of 22, and for this reason he did not find a solution other than to pay the club to sign a contract with his son.

On Sunday, the Spanish newspaper “Marca” reported the details of the strange deal, the hero of which was a Czech businessman, as he decided to give the FK Ústí nad Labem team, which is active in the third division, an amount of 20 thousand euros, in exchange for contracting with his son, Martin Budajski. The 22-year-old even appears in some matches.

The Spanish newspaper quoted the team owner’s statements, who confirmed that a similar offer could not be rejected because the amount provided by the player’s father is considered very important to his team and he is ready to accept any player if similar financial compensation is available because his team needs to support its budget.

The club owner added: “When the team is ahead (3-0), we can include Budajski for some minutes in order to appear with the team. Such an offer cannot be rejected. We do not find this amount every day on the road.”

The team completed all the administrative arrangements related to registering the player’s contract with the Czech Football Association, noting that the new player owns his own company and has been managing it for some time, and despite that, he is obsessed with football.
