Suara.com – a crocodile in Brazil carry away corpse which will be investigated by Police. Adapting the Mirror Saturday (12/06), the lifeless body was found in the Arroio Fundo river, west of Rio de Janeiro.
The unnamed man’s body was reported to police after residents saw him floating in Brazil’s waterways last week.
When police officers showed up with firefighters, his body had disappeared from the water. Footage shows a crocodile swimming while carrying the body to the bottom of the water.
The body was eventually found more than 24 hours later after firefighters returned to continue the search.

Officers managed to retrieve the body unharmed although the crocodile was still roaming in the water.
Authorities then took the body to the Legal Medical Institute (IML) for an official autopsy as part of their investigation into the death.
“We’re used to seeing crocodiles in the area, generally while rescuing other animals, so we already know how to deal with situations like this,” the firefighter explained.
The investigation into the man’s death is continuing and there is no information on the outcome yet autopsy or the damage caused by the crocodile after it drags its ‘hostage’ down.
Crocodiles usually drag their victims down to kill them by drowning and will store any kills there to eat later.
