In a crime known as unbelievable, a British court sentenced a mother to 7 and a half years in prison, because of her daughter.
The court discovered that the criminal mother locked her daughter in a box under her bed for approximately 3 years, in what looked like “living death.”
The agency explained that the authorities found the girl in a very difficult condition, suffering from tangled hair, skin rashes, and physical deformities, as well as severe malnutrition.
It was also reported that the incident occurred in the family home in Cheshire, northwest England.
In turn, Judge Stephen Everett, at Chester Crown Court, believed that the mother concealed a horrific secret, noting that the child was deprived of love, care and basic needs.
He said: “What you did is beyond all imagination. The child was completely isolated from the outside world, without proper food, social interaction, or necessary medical treatment.”
The mother did this because she wanted to hide the child’s situation from her partner, and when the latter stayed in the house, the mother moved the child to another room, but she remained isolated.
Strange discovery
It is reported that the mother’s partner discovered the matter after he heard a strange sound from a room in the house, and when the family’s relatives were summoned, social welfare services arrived at the scene, and they found the child.
In addition, the child was taken to the hospital suffering from severe malnutrition and dehydration, as the mother was feeding her by injecting her with a mixture of grains and milk.
