In a new heinous crime that denies any meaning of paternity, a man ended the life of his young son – who is 17 – in the village of Mit Halfa in the Egyptian governorate of Qalyubia, following several quarrels with his mother.
The story began with the notification to the Egyptian security authorities by the population of the region that they had found the body of a young man in his second decade of life who had had his throat cut, and the competent authorities rushed to the scene, where he was it turned out that his father had killed him and fled.
To take revenge on the mother
The victim’s neighbors told “Cairo 24” that the accused is separated from his wife, who is from a village adjacent to the place where the crime took place, and who always comes to them and beats them, threatening the mother to kill the his children in retaliation.
Neighbors said they were surprised by the mother’s screams on the street after she returned from hospital with the victim’s brother because he was ill, after discovering that her son had been killed, repeating: “His father slit his throat and ran away”. . The security services were immediately informed of the incident, which examined the crime scene and downloaded the surveillance cameras in the area.
The investigative authorities ordered the transfer of the deceased’s body to hospital until the forensic medicine department ordered an autopsy and subsequently authorized the burial.
