Proposes mandatory use of mask for students over 6 years old
Alberto Núñez Feijóo has announced that he will propose at the next Conference of Presidents on Education that the use of the mask be mandatory at all times for teachers and students over 6 years of age.
He insists on demanding “a single protocol” for the entire Spanish territory and has announced a specific screening starting next week for the 40,000 non-university education teachers in Galicia, both in public and concerted education.
It is expected that the clinical committee will meet again in two days, on Friday, to analyze the situation in A Coruña and its surroundings, and analyze whether it is necessary to adopt more measures regarding limitation of capacity or of another type.
Regarding the return to the classroom, the acting Galician president has indicated that it is, “together with the outbreaks”, “what most worries” the Galician Government at this time.
