The Galician Symphony Orchestra has begun to record, at the Opera Palace in A Coruña, the soundtrack of ‘La sombra de la ley’, the new film by Dani de la Torre and starring Luís Tosar and Michelle Jenner, with the production of the Coruña Vaca Films. The central theme is the song “Until the last sigh” and is interpreted by Ainhoa Arteta. The soprano is in A Coruña.
The composers are the Galician Manuel Riveiro and the Catalan Xavi Font. The film opens on October 11.
Director Dani de la Torre has highlighted to the media that the music in this film is also “the protagonist”, which takes the plot back to the 1920s. With a script by Patxi Amezcua, The Shadow of the Law was shot in the past summer in more than 80 locations in Galicia and Barcelona and Galicia. It is a production of Vaca Films, Atresmedia Cine and La Ley del Plomo AIE and in addition to Tosar and Michelle Jenner, it has Vicente Romero, Ernesto Alterio, Paco Tous, Pep Tosar and Manolo Solo in the cast.
