Today the local government board approved the granting of the municipal license for the expansion works of the Estrella Galicia factory facilities within its A Grela plot. It is the first phase of the expansion of the factory.
The company plans to present itself to the public tender to occupy the annexed land, the A Grela II football field and a plot of a transport company, to continue with further expansion. This first step is still limited to the current plot.
The brewery is expected to occupy an additional 700 square meters of surface area on the A Grela plot where it is installed. The action has a cost of one million 400,000 euros, must begin before February of next year and has an execution period of eight months. There will be located four new cooking vessels, a cold room for hops, a changing room and a rest area for workers.
