The municipal plenary session of A Coruña has unanimously agreed to declare the members of La Manada as persons non gratas. All municipal groups have approved the initiative proposed by the BNG that highlights the lack of repentance of the defendants, now on provisional freedom, and the maintenance of their pattern of conduct despite social outrage at the sentence and the details of the process.
The City Council of A Coruña will implement anti-bullying bus stops in different parts of the city through the owl bus. As a test, the initiative will be launched on July 13 and 14 upon request of the points that interest women who want to be part of the initiative. The announcement has been produced as a result of a motion that the Socialists have taken to the municipal plenary session. Councilor Yoya Neira warned that the measure is one more part of a plan that must be global.
The corporation has also demanded that the Xunta improve care for women affected by endometriosis, the leading cause of female infertility. Their treatment is required to be fully financed by public health and training is provided for health professionals.
