Fran Amor Llopis, the young man from Oleiros who was born without Iris, has since yesterday with the 75% recognition disability. This is what the judge has ruled after five and a half years of struggle. Fran, like her mother, suffers from congenital bilateral aniridia, a degenerative pathology that leads to blindness. The Xunta de Galicia recognized him, at first, as 54% disabled and, later, 70%.
The family is satisfied with the sentence. Fran has her disability certificate that allows her to receive a non-contributory pension and request devices, such as an adapted computer to study. According to Sandra Llopis, her mother, the Department of Social Policy He has never determined that Fran suffered from aniridia, but rather another such disease. Now the family will undertake a fight so that the ailment is codified within the documents of the Administration so that other people do not have to go through the same thing that Fran has gone through.
The family will now demand compensation from the Xunta de Galicia for damages and prejudices for these five years in which Fran has had to get ahead without any kind of public aid.
