A man’s body, broken glass on the floor and a bloodstained fan. This is what police officers from Mahébourg discovered when they went to Patrick Nabydeen’s home on the evening of Saturday, April 17. The latter, aged 56, was lying inert on his bed. He had a deep head injury.
It was his concubine who alerted the police. She tells the police that on returning home in the evening, her uncle, who lives at the same address, informed her that her partner did not leave his home for a whole day.
To gain access to the interior, they had to go through a door at the back of the house. On entering the bedroom, she discovered her partner inert on her bed. The latter was shirtless and was bleeding from his head.
