For plasma donation, there are no necessary buildings in the Southern Alps: you therefore have to travel to Aix, Marseille, Nice or Arles to make this type of donation. So, to compensate for this lack, a special system was set up several years ago. Thanks to a partnership with a car dealer, vehicles are made available to collect and transport plasma from Digne to Aix. This will take place over the next two Saturdays (the 7th and the 14th) in the prefecture city of the Alpes de Haute-Provence. Richard Le Riguier, president of the departmental union of blood donors in the department, reminds us of the importance of plasma donation.

The president says that France imports plasma to operate this center. His goal is to reverse the trend: to go from 70% imports to only 30%.
