A video from Saturday, which showed a convoy of black cars of the security services with the lights on, descending towards the Kremlin, stirred the spirits on social networks.
The video was shot at 11 pm local time, when the column literally swept along Manezhnaya Street.
The video, which was mostly broadcast on Telegram, immediately raised all sorts of conspiracy theories. Many users who shared the video in question wondered what could have happened to have such a race against the Kremlin in the middle of the night.
A spokesman for Russian President Dmitry Peskov told TASS succinctly that “there is nothing true” in the rumors that Putin’s health has deteriorated and that is why the security services have been activated.
