Conversation concert Chaklais. Other created by artists Karīna Tatarinova and Roberts Dinters, the theater will also help them video artist Dainars Albužis and lighting artist Toms Streilis. The first concerts are scheduled for November 14 and 22 at 18.
The concert will feature songs with poetry by Maris Chaklas, composed for movies and theater performances, Liv sung and loved by the people – popular and lesser known (e.g. Acacia sheet, Cuckoo’s voice, Black chokeberry, They danced one summer and other).
Songs created in collaboration with Imants Kalniņš, Ģederts Ramans, Ēriks Ķegelis and other composers; as well as the poet’s own memories of these collaborations, the process of creation, time and contemporaries. The program also includes the last poems by Māris Čaklas, which were first published only in 2014.
