Estavayer-le-Lac »It’s not easy to read a story in front of an audience. Zoé Vodoz (11 years old) and the ten finalists of the Lecture Academy can say something about it. You have to speak slowly, put your voice, articulate the words without forgetting the intonations, the connections. And, sometimes, overcome this jitters which causes slight tremors. During the final of the competition, Saturday morning at the Sacré-Cœur in Estavayer-le-Lac, Zoé Vodoz succeeded, like her comrades, after a long preparation.

The text she had chosen made the difference. The society of grandfathers to adopt, a novel for the young by Emilie Chazerand, tells the story of a rich but lonely little girl, who suddenly has fun with a prankster grandfather. Dentures in the cafe, chairs shortened
