A constellation of world celebrities shines in the jubilee XV International Festival “Days of Music at the Balaban House” in Plovdiv – 2024-05-07 05:35:39

The international festival “Days of Music in the Balaban House”, winner of the prestigious awards “Musical Project of the Year” in the ranking “Musician of the Year” of the BNR, a Gold Medal from the Ministry of Culture, the “Plovdiv” Prize for Music, has been presenting some of the most prominent musicians of our time.

In the anniversary year 2024, the program of its two editions – spring and autumn – includes real stars of the world music scene. Among them stand out the famous violinists Vesco Eshkenazi – concertmaster of the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra – Amsterdam, Svetlin Rusev, Albena Danailova – concertmaster of the Vienna Philharmonic; the world-famous opera primas – Krasimira Stoyanova (Camerzenger of the Vienna Opera) and Svetlina Stoyanova – mezzo-soprano; the famous pianist Ludmil Angelov; the exceptional ensembles BELGIAN BRASS – Belgium, the Soloists of the Vienna Philharmonic – Austria, Baroque soloists and many others.

In its 15-year history, the Festival has presented on its stage and supported the development of over 1,900 talented young Bulgarian musicians. In the month of June, the youth project “All That Jazz for Kids” with leader and soloist Ventsi Blagoev and the concert “Young Plovdiv Talents” will delight the youngest audience of the MF “Days of Music at the Balaban House”.

The festival is part of the Cultural Calendar of the Municipality of Plovdiv and is implemented with the support of the Municipality of Plovdiv, the Ministry of Culture, the Muzikartissimo Foundation.

Tickets for the concerts are distributed online on the Eventim.bg network and at the venue before the concerts.
