MADRID, 27 Feb. (EUROPA PRESS) –
Last Monday, an employee of the Paris City Council filed a complaint for the theft of a computer and USB flash drives containing security plans for the next Summer Olympic Games, which will be held in the French capital from July 26 to August 11.
The BFM television channel confirmed this robbery at the Gare du Nord on Tuesday and also that a police investigation has already been opened. It was 7:30 p.m. on February 26 when this City Council employee, a 56-year-old engineer, reported the theft he had just suffered to the train station police station.
BFM said that the engineer had detailed the contents of his bag, stolen when he was on his way to Creil Sud Oise, and that specifically it was a computer and two USB drives with “sensitive” information about Parisian city council plans; A deployment of almost 2,000 security agents is expected, most of them municipal police officers.
