Le Privé, opened in 1993 in Avignon in a former stone quarry, was long considered one of the best clubs in France and pioneers of electronic music in the south of the country. Its walls will have seen Carl Cox, Jeff Mills, Laurent Garnier, Richie Hawtin, St Germain, Derrick May, Dave Clarke, Manu Le Malin … In order to shine the history of this place and its golden age, Benoît today undertakes to upload the audio archives of the great DJ sets performed at the Privé on a YouTube channel: Private Archives. In addition to the Daft Punk set, we can now find a video ofa set by Jeff Mills from 2003, a recording ofa “special Halloween” set by Bob Sinclar in 1998 and a video ofa set by Manu Le Malin in 2006.
