Last November, Hugues Aufray takes a heavy fall on the stairs of his house in the Yvelines. For our colleagues from Parisian, the singer returns to this accident which could have been very serious. “I almost made the big trip. I ran down fifteen steps head first. But in the end, I got out of it and here I am, I’m starting again. I’m learning to play the guitar again, my wrist is still a little clumsy”, he confides. According to him, this fall would be the consequence of an injection of iodine to pass an MRI. He then thinks he had a bad reaction to the product. “I had a perfect day after the exam, but as I was going up to my room on the first floor, on the last step, I fell backwards. I had a completely black veil, I fell over. head first”.
Hugues Aufray will simply tell his audience that he broke his wrist in an accident. He didn’t want to give more details. “so as not to upset the public”. From now on, the artist can talk about it more freely. “It’s over, I got over it”. Proof that he is in great shape: the singer is organizing a gala on Friday March 10, 2023 in Nîmes to help child victims of the earthquakes in Turkey and Syria. Indeed, the artist wants to promote this event which has also attracted other personalities.

Among the donated lots are “a signed guitar of the singer Jamaican Jimmy Cliff, sent directly from Miami, Real Madrid and OM shirts, respectively donated by players Eden Hazard and Azzedine Ounahi, but also a guitar from the nonagenarian singer: a LAG Tramontane whose top (the front of the body) is adorned with a photo of him taken by Tony Frank in 2007 at the Olympia. An instrument that had been offered to him, but which he did not use in public”write our daily colleagues.
