A competition has been announced for the filling of 290 vacant posts for military service in the Ground Forces.
Vacancies are in formations deployed in Stara Zagora, Yambol, Haskovo, Karlovo, Kazanlak, Blagoevgrad, Vratsa, Sliven, Plovdiv, Asenovgrad, Belene, Smolyan, Sofia, Ruse, etc.
Applicants must have a secondary or higher education, be fit for military service, and be no older than 40. The requirement for persons meeting Art. 141, para. 6 of the Law on the Defense and Armed Forces (ZOVSRB), is to be no older than 41 years for those who have exercised their right to a pension and no older than 44 years for those who have not exercised their right to a pension.
Documents for participation in the contest are submitted by September 20 through the structures of the Central Military District by place of residence. It will be held in the period 9 – 13 December 2024 and includes a physical fitness test, a general culture test and an interview.
Vacancies are for drivers, mechanics, automotive and communications technicians, etc.
